We believe in open conversation and freedom of expression while maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone. By using SamaseTalk, you agree to follow these Community Rules and Guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
Treat other members with respect. You may disagree with another person's opinion, but disagreements must not become personal attacks or abuse.
The following are not allowed:
- Harassment
- Bullying
- Threats
- Intimidation
- Targeted abuse
- Personal attacks
- Repeated unwanted contact
- Encouraging others to harass another person
2. No Hate Speech or Discrimination
SamaseTalk does not allow content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups.
Content targeting people because of characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, or other protected characteristics is prohibited when it constitutes hateful or abusive conduct.
3. No Pornographic or Sexually Explicit Content
SamaseTalk is not an adult-content platform. The following are prohibited:
- Pornographic content
- Sexually explicit images or videos
- Sexual solicitation
- Sexual exploitation
- Sexual services
- Explicit sexual material intended for sexual gratification
- Non-consensual intimate content
- Sexual content involving minors
Users may discuss relationships, personal experiences, health, education, and other appropriate topics, provided the content does not violate these rules.
4. No Child Exploitation
Any content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children is strictly prohibited. Accounts involved in child exploitation or abuse may be immediately removed and, where legally required or appropriate, reported to relevant authorities.
5. No Violence or Threats
Do not use SamaseTalk to threaten, encourage, organize, or glorify serious violence or physical harm. This includes:
- Credible threats against individuals
- Encouraging violence
- Threats against groups
- Instructions for harming others
- Content intended to facilitate serious physical harm
6. No Illegal Activities
SamaseTalk must not be used to facilitate or promote illegal activities. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Fraud
- Theft
- Human trafficking
- Exploitation
- Sale of illegal goods
- Criminal coordination
- Identity theft
- Financial crimes
7. No Scams or Fraud
Do not use SamaseTalk to deceive or defraud other users. Prohibited activities include:
- Fake giveaways
- Fake investment opportunities
- Phishing
- Fake identities used for fraud
- Fraudulent offers
- Ponzi or pyramid schemes
- Requests for money using deceptive information
- Impersonation for fraudulent purposes
8. No Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, organization, public figure, professional, moderator, administrator, or SamaseTalk representative. Users must not falsely claim qualifications, certifications, employment, or professional experience.
9. No Spam or Unauthorized Promotion
SamaseTalk is intended for genuine community conversations. Do not:
- Flood the platform with repetitive posts
- Post irrelevant promotional material
- Send unsolicited advertisements
- Manipulate engagement
- Use automated accounts to generate spam
- Repeatedly promote products or services without authorization
Approved promotional activities may be offered through designated SamaseTalk features.
10. Protect Personal Information
Respect the privacy of other users. Do not publish another person's private information without their permission. This includes:
- Home addresses
- Private phone numbers
- Private email addresses
- Financial information
- Passwords
- Private conversations
- Identification documents
- Other sensitive personal information
Doxxing, blackmail, stalking, and attempts to expose another user's private identity are prohibited.
11. No Harmful or Misleading Content
Do not intentionally distribute false or misleading information in a way that could cause serious harm. Users should make reasonable efforts to distinguish facts from opinions, speculation, satire, and personal experiences. SamaseTalk may remove content that creates a significant safety risk or violates applicable laws.
12. Respect Intellectual Property
Only upload or share content that you have permission or the legal right to use. Do not use SamaseTalk to distribute copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material without authorization. If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed, contact SamaseTalk through the published support channels.
13. User-Generated Content
SamaseTalk allows users to create and share content. Users are responsible for the content they submit. Depending on your privacy and sharing settings, content may be visible to other users. SamaseTalk may review, restrict, remove, or disable access to content that violates these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Use, or applicable law.
14. Report Violations
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using the reporting tools available within SamaseTalk. Reports may be reviewed by our moderation team. When submitting a report, provide enough information for us to understand the issue.
False, malicious, or abusive reporting may itself result in account restrictions.
15. Block and Mute
Users may use available blocking and muting tools to control their interactions with other members. Blocking a user may prevent that person from interacting with you through supported SamaseTalk features. We encourage users to block and report accounts that engage in harassment, abuse, or other prohibited behavior.
16. Moderation
SamaseTalk may use a combination of automated systems and human review to help identify content that violates our rules. Moderation actions may include:
- Removing content
- Limiting content visibility
- Restricting account features
- Issuing warnings
- Suspending accounts
- Permanently removing accounts
Serious violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.
17. Appeals
Where an appeal process is available, users may request a review of certain moderation decisions. Appeals should provide relevant information explaining why the decision should be reconsidered. SamaseTalk may maintain records necessary to investigate repeated violations, protect users, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
18. Account Security
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials. Do not share your password or authentication credentials with other people. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact SamaseTalk support immediately.
19. Platform Manipulation
Users must not attempt to manipulate or interfere with SamaseTalk's systems. This includes:
- Creating accounts to evade bans
- Using bots to manipulate engagement
- Artificially generating likes or interactions
- Attempting to bypass moderation
- Exploiting technical vulnerabilities
- Interfering with platform operations
20. Professional Discussions
SamaseTalk is open to both professionals and non-professionals. Users do not need professional qualifications to participate in general discussions. However, users must not falsely represent themselves as licensed or certified professionals.
When sharing professional, educational, financial, legal, medical, or other specialized information, users should make clear when they are expressing a personal opinion rather than providing professional advice.
21. External Contact Information and Links
To help reduce spam, scams, and abuse, SamaseTalk may restrict the sharing of external contact information or links in certain areas of the platform. Where restrictions apply, users must follow the requirements displayed by the relevant SamaseTalk feature.
22. Age Requirements
SamaseTalk is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirement specified for the service and applicable law. Users must provide accurate information when age information is requested. SamaseTalk may restrict or remove accounts that do not meet applicable age requirements.
23. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines as SamaseTalk develops. When important changes are made, we may notify users through the application, website, email, or another appropriate communication method. Continued use of SamaseTalk after an update means that you agree to the updated guidelines.
